Entries passed to me before kick off of the first Championship game on Friday August 4th at 8:00pm.

You pick 4 teams from each of the leagues (Premier, Championship, League 1, League 2 and the National). There is a value attached to each club and a maximum total for each league which you must not exceed.

Points are scored as per the actual league tables; 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw.

General

Teams passed to me before kick off of the first Premier League game. So Friday August 11th at 8:00pm. Don't forget your all important team name.

Rules Not In This Competition

This season Puffers Dream Team will NOT use the following from the official Sun Dream Team:

Player Prices - These will remain as they started. I will place a copy of the player prices on the website and these will be used throughout this competition. I'll add any new players as applicable. So just remember to keep within your £50 million budget.

Captain - The Captain option each week will not be required.

Boosters - The Boosters will not be used.

Transfers - 2 per week with no rollovers

Eligible Games For Scoring Points

English Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, the Capital One Cup, the playoff rounds in the Champions League and Europa League (excluding the qualifying rounds). International competition matches are not Eligible Matches.

Rules & Scoring Points

11 players
Budget is £50 million
Managers must choose 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-5-1, 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 5-4-1 or 5-3-2 formation.
Goal +5 points
Shot On Target +1 point
Tackles +1 point per 2 tackles
Appearance (Up to 60 minutes) +1 point
Appearance (60+ minutes) +1 point
Own Goal -2 points
Assist +2 points
Big Chance Created +1 point
Yellow card -1 point
Red card -3 points
Saves +1 point per 2 saves for goalkeepers
Penalty save +3 points for goalkeeper
Penalty miss -3 points for taker
Clean sheet (60 mins played) +5 points for goalkeeper/defender
2 goals conceded – minus 1 point goalkeeper/defender
Each goal conceded over two goals –1 point goalkeeper/defender
Bonus Point +1, +3 or +5 points 5 points

Transfers

Managers can make a maximum of two transfers to their team during each game week .

Player transfers and other changes will be applied at the start of each new Gameweek. Any changes made after this point will be applied at the beginning of the next Gameweek.

Winter Break

During the weekends of 13 and 20 January 2024, a single round of Premier League fixtures will be spread over two weekends to accommodate a winter break. This will count as a single Gameweek.
